FAQ

The sound isn’t working. How do I fix this?

Check the sound volume of the screen by pressing the volume buttons. If the volume is between halfway and full, but no sound is still audible, try pressing the sound button on the mouse. Sometimes this button is accidentally pressed and the sound is turned off that way.

Instruction videos aren’t showing. How do I fix this?

When the SilverFit 3D is connected to the internet, missing instruction videos will be downloaded automatically. If an instruction video is not displayed, the following reasons might apply:

  • The download process is still ongoing: In this case, the video will become available after a while. The speed at which a video is downloaded depends on the network the 3D is connected to. If this has not happened after a few hours, check the internet connection.
  • No internet connection: If there is no internet connection, new instruction videos cannot be downloaded. You can do the following:
    • If the system is connected via Wi-Fi: Check if the Wi-Fi is still working by opening the Wi-Fi settings. The Wi-Fi password may have changed, the user account may have expired, or there may be a temporary Wi-Fi outage at the location.
    • If the system is connected via an internet cable: Check if the internet cable is properly plugged into the computer and ensure the cable is not damaged.
  • Network restrictions: Your IT department may have applied network restrictions to keep the network secure. This could prevent new instruction videos from being downloaded. SilverFit has no influence on this and cannot make changes. Contact your IT department to discuss possible solutions.
Windows is updating. What do I do?

When the SilverFit 3D is connected to the internet, Windows will sometimes perform updates. This is necessary to keep the system up-to-date. You may see a notification on the screen about this. When Windows updates are performed, the system may be temporarily slower. The system may also take longer than usual to start up or shut down. While the update is running, do not shut down the system and leave it plugged in. Should you encounter any problems, please contact SilverFit.

The computer won’t turn on. How do I fix this?

If you press the on/off button, a white led will light behind the button. You will also be able to hear a soft rustling noise from the internal fan. If these things do not happen, check the following:

  • Is the plug properly attached to the power outlet?
  • Is the power strip on?
  • Has the power cable of the computer been connected correctly?
The screen does not show anything. How do I fix this?

Perhaps the screen is in standby mode. Press the on/off button of the computer. If no led lights on the screen, check the following:

  • Is the plug properly connected to the power outlet?
  • Is the power strip on?
  • Has the power cable of the computer been connected correctly?
