Alzheimer's Day 2020

Around the World, people's awareness for dementia is growing. Yet, the stigmatisation and misinformation that surrounds dementia remains a global problem that requires global action.

Alzheimer is the most common cause of dementia, a general term for memory loss and other cognitive abilities serious enough to interfere with daily life.

While there is no current cure for Alzheimer, treatments can slow the worsening of dementia symptoms and improve quality of life.

For instance activities that stimulate exercise, promote social interaction and contacts, cognitive stimulation, reminiscence, music or relaxation are different ways to improve the wellbeing of people living with dementia.

Let's support people living with dementia!
