SilverFit is a young and driven company with a hands-on approach to getting things done. We strive to revolutionize rehabilitation, and this takes hard work and inspired thinking. C# developer

We are looking for 3 C# developers who would like to join our development team.

Job description

As a software developer your job will consist of a wide variety of activities:

  • Responsible for developing new games, menu structures, and clinical analysis programs.
  • Design, specification and implementation of game play in C# with XNA.
  • Implementation of game controlling by various sensors, such as the Microsoft Kinect, sensors on the Arduino, and surface EMG.
  • Testing of prototypes with the target audience.
  • Working together in an agile team of developers, UX designer, testers, and artists.

Skills and requirements

  • A completed college / university education. Preferably in the direction of IT/ICT.
  • At least 1 year internship/work experience as a C# Developer.
  • Experience with OO programming and C#.
  • Experience with version control software, like Git. 
  • Affinity with user experience design (creating simple to use yet powerful user interfaces)
  • Experience with the Microsoft XNA framework and WPF are a plus
  • Excellent ability to speak and write English.

In addition, you are available for 32-40 hours a week and you live in the environment of Woerden, the Netherlands.

International business developer

We are looking for an international business developer to join our team.

Job description

As an international business developer, you’ll be deeply involved with all aspect of SilverFit’s products. You’ll support, guide and coach international distributors (resellers) to make sure they can get the maximum out of our products. SilverFit currently operates in: the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Great Britain, Thailand, China, Hongkong, Korea, Mexico and the U.S. 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Support, educate, guide and coach distributors to make sure they can offer our products to customers. 
  • Expand the current relationship with distributors. 
  • Pro-actively maintain contact with international distributors.
  • Completely knowledge of the various products of SilverFit. 
  • Visiting distributors abroad (± 2 times a month).
  • Keep in contact with colleagues of the other departments (sales, marketing etc).
  • Contribute to the introduction of new products to distributors. 

Skills and requirements

  • A completed college / university education. This could be in a medical direction like physiotherapy, human movement sciences, clinical psychology or a commercial/ economical study. 
  • Affinity with rehabilitation and geriatric health care.
  • At least 1 year experience with commercial and international work.
  • Great skills in communication
  • Excellent ability to speak and write English and Dutch and preferably another foreign language.
  • You are assertive and able to build and share in-depth knowledge and capabilities. 
  • Commercial capabilities and pro-active in contacting by phone. 
  • Affinity with cultures and possibly experience with living abroad for a longer period.
  • Willing and able to travel (international).

(Commercial) Director France

SilverFit was founded in 2008 in the Netherlands. Our mission is to fundamentally improve the lives on frail elderly people through innovative technology. So far, we have developed different products which are sold in 16 different countries. These products are mainly used in elderly care (EHPADs) and rehabilitation (hospitals and cliniques de soins de suite). Our team currently consists of about 30 people, all located in The Netherlands. Up until now, all French sales activities have been conducted directly by the CEO. They are present in 3 of the large EHPAD groups with over 25 total installations, but hope to grow this significantly. We aim to expand our position in France and build our team there, what is depending on commercial success.

Job description

  • Expand the current customer portfolio in France (EHPADs and Cliniques de soins de suite).
  • Sales demonstrations and meetings with EHPAD directors.
  • Maintain and expand our position with large accounts in direct collaboration with the CEO.
  • Create/adapt French language marketing materials (website, brochures) and take marketing initiatives (mailing, PR, trade fairs), with support from the Dutch/international expert team.
  • Organize post-sales operations: system placement, training of medical professionals, technical support.
  • Collecting feedback from users and the market in order to drive ongoing development of their products.
  • On the long run, depending on commercial success, build, expand and lead the French team.

Skills and requirements

  • A deep understanding of and respect for the EHPAD sector; ideally former EHPAD director.
  • Commercial capabilities; ability and interest to sell systems.
  • Ability to organize demonstrations, meetings and installations.
  • Able to set up and build our presence in France. For this, you will have to be very practical and hands-on in the beginning; but also capable to lead a team as SilverFit’s presence is growing in France.
  • Willing and able to travel in France and to the Netherlands.
  • Native French speaker in order to do well in France; fluent in English, in order to communicate with colleagues in The Netherlands.
  • Affinity with software and technical problem solving.
  • Available for 32 – 40 hours a week.
